Choose reputable developers:
Before trusting anyone with your money, do a little research on the company.  Only select financially sound, sustainable management companies that inspire consumer confidence and enjoy a good reputation. 

Check nearby facilities:

Your home goes beyond your building and stretches into the community.  When you find a place you like, make sure to check how close it is to nice, clean parks, cultural centers, hospitals, libraries, markets, banks, and schools.

Assess accessibility:

Is your potential home easy enough to access from major roads, but tucked away enough to avoid hazardous, busy streets and constant traffic?  Are there trains, bus stations, or taxis nearby?  Having a place that’s convenient to access will save you valuable time on commuting and getting around in general. 

Investigate Quality:

A little research goes a long way in determining which construction companies cut corners to keep costs down and which companies never skimp on quality.  If you want to know anything about the construction materials or process, then make sure to ask.  Here are a few things to look for when investigating the quality of the construction company or the buildings themselves:

-All certificates and endorsements pertaining to safe-building practices, such as radiation free steel bars and certified chloride ion free sand used in the concrete

-Explicitly expressed start and completion dates, signed by both parties

-Specifically marked and agreed upon floor plans with exact distances, sizes, and estimated costs

-Quality built-in appliances, fixtures, and facilities

-Explicit, in-contract payment expectations for buyer and seller, including all taxes and fees
